This policy explains what personal information Kanak India Sales Service collects through https://www.kanakindiass.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to deliver what you have asked for.
What we collect
When you register interest in a certification course: your name, email address, mobile number, college or organisation, department, year of study, city, which course interests you, and any message you write.
When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, mobile number, organisation, role and the message you write.
Automatically: your IP address, and standard analytics data collected by Google through the Google tag on this site.
What we never collect
This website does not take payments. We never ask for and never store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, netbanking credentials or any other financial detail through this site.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- ›Send you the details of the certification course you registered interest in
- ›Contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp about that registration
- ›Enrol you with the certification partner, if you go ahead
- ›Respond to your enquiry
- ›Report registration numbers back to your institution where an MOU is in place
- ›Meet our tax and accounting obligations where an enrolment is later invoiced
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only with:
- ›The relevant certification partner (Unity, Microsoft, Cisco, Autodesk or AWS), if you go ahead with an enrolment that must be registered in your name
- ›Your institution, where it has an MOU with us and sponsors your enrolment
- ›Our web hosting provider, which stores the database on our behalf
- ›Google, through the analytics tag on this website
- ›Government authorities, where the law requires it
How long we keep it
Registrations and enquiry messages are kept for up to three years so we have context if you come back to us. Where a registration leads to a paid enrolment, the resulting invoice records are kept for at least eight years because tax law requires it. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to retain.
How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS. The administrative console is password protected, with hashed passwords and a limit on failed sign-in attempts. Access is restricted to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the data we hold.
Cookies
We use a session cookie so that forms and the admin console work correctly, and Google's analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though the registration form will not submit without the session cookie.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. You can also ask us to stop sending you anything other than transactional messages about an order you have placed. Email kanakindiass@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 18. If you are under 18, please have a parent, guardian or your institution enrol on your behalf.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it.
