What we collect
When you complete an online purchase: your full name, email address and mobile number, which you enter in the checkout form. These details are stored in our orders database and used to deliver your course access or exam voucher. Your payment is processed by Razorpay — we do not receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. Razorpay provides us with a payment reference ID and the amount confirmed; nothing more.
When you register interest in a certification course: your name, email address, mobile number, college or organisation, department, year of study, city, which course interests you, and any message you write.
When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, mobile number, organisation, role and the message you write.
When you arrive through a Course Counsellor referral link:
we store a referral cookie (named cc_ref) in your browser for up to
30 days. This cookie records only the referral code — no personal data.
If you complete a purchase within that window, we match your order to the referring counsellor
to calculate their commission.
Automatically: your IP address, and standard analytics data collected by Google through the Google tag (AW-835044796) on this site.
What we never collect
We never ask for or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or net-banking credentials. Those details go directly to Razorpay and never pass through our servers. We do not store Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers or any government-issued identification.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- ›Deliver the course access, practice-test licence or exam voucher you purchased
- ›Send you order confirmation and delivery details by email
- ›Contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp about your registration or enquiry
- ›Enrol you with the certification partner (Unity, Microsoft, Cisco, Autodesk, AWS) where required
- ›Report registration numbers back to your institution where an MOU is in place
- ›Calculate and settle commissions for Course Counsellors
- ›Meet our tax, accounting and GST obligations on orders placed
- ›Understand how the site is used via Google Analytics
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only with:
- ›Razorpay Software Private Limited — our payment processor. Razorpay receives only the order amount and the details needed to process and confirm payment. Their Privacy Policy is at razorpay.com/privacy.
- ›The relevant certification partner (Unity, Microsoft, Cisco, Autodesk or AWS), if you go ahead with an enrolment that must be registered in your name
- ›Your institution, where it has an MOU with us and sponsors your enrolment
- ›The Course Counsellor who referred you — only their commission amount and the package type purchased are shared, not your contact details
- ›Our web hosting provider, which stores the database on our behalf under a data-processing arrangement
- ›Google, through the analytics tag on this website
- ›Government authorities, where the law requires it
How long we keep it
Order records (name, email, phone, package purchased, amount paid, Razorpay reference) are kept for at least eight years because Indian tax and GST law requires it. Registration and enquiry records with no resulting order are kept for up to three years so we have context if you come back to us. Referral cookies expire automatically after 30 days. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to retain.
How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS. Card and payment data never touches our servers — it goes directly to Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. The administrative console is password protected, with hashed passwords and a limit on failed sign-in attempts. Access is restricted to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the data we hold.
Cookies
We use a session cookie so that the site and admin console work correctly. If you arrive
through a Course Counsellor referral link, a cc_ref cookie is stored for up
to 30 days (this contains only the referral code, not your personal data).
Google's analytics cookies collect browsing behaviour under Google's own privacy policy. You
can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing or promotional messages at any time. Email kanakindiass@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 18. If you are under 18, please have a parent, guardian or your institution complete any purchase or registration on your behalf.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it.
